THX Certified Enclave Audio CineHome Pro WiSA 5.1
7 total AC power outlets are required — one to plug in the CineHub wireless transmitter, five for the wireless speakers, and one for the wireless subwoofer.
The $1799.99 Enclave Audio CineHome Pro CineHub Edition [manufacturer’s link] [available at Amazon] 5.1-channel surround sound system is the world’s first and only THX Certified and WiSA Certified wireless home theater audio system packaged and shipped inside a single (66-pound) box!
The most striking feature of this package are the statuesque wall-mountable front left and right speakers which feature a V-shaped grille and pack a 1″ soft-dome tweeter, dual 3″ drivers, and dual bass ports into slim cabinets measuring 24.1″ in height and just 3.4″ in width, thin enough to virtually “disappear” aside your television. The wall-mountable center channel speaker has the exact same dimensions and drivers, so you’ve got a perfectly voice-matched front soundstage as you might expect from a THX certified system.
Shorter rear left and right speakers (which are the same as the front left and right speakers that come with the cheaper CineHome II system) measure 16.4″ in height, are the same width as the front speakers, and each have a 1″ tweeter, a single 3″ driver, and a bass port. If you plan on simply placing the front left and right and/or rear left and right speakers atop your TV stand and/or end tables and perhaps have a child or a large dog running wild in your home, you might want to also purchase a pair or two of the optional $79.99 per pair table mounted speaker stands [manufacturer’s link] [available at Amazon] pictured above right to stabilize them. Lastly, but certainly not least, the low frequency bass effects are provided by the 10″ front-firing, sealed-enclosure powered subwoofer.
The compact CineHub wireless audio transmitter measures a mere 7″ wide, 1.6″ high, 5.1″ deep, and weighs less than a pound. It connects to the back of your television via the HDMI eARC/ARC or digital optical, and performs Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS surround sound decoding. If you connect via HDMI ARC, you can enable HDMI-CEC in your TV’s menu settings to use your existing TV remote or a universal remote to control basic functions such as power, volume, and mute. Because THERE IS NO DEDICATED SYSTEM REMOTE CONTROL, system setup and adjusting settings will require you to connect your smartphone to your CineHub with Bluetooth and use the Enclave App.
