Receiver + 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos Speaker System Bundles

There are three different ways to configure, set up, and install 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X speakers in your room. First, the most immersive but also most room-intrusive and labor-intensive method (not featured below on this page) is to install a pair of flush-mount speakers overhead in the ceiling in addition to a conventional six-piece 5.1 speaker system. Second, the easiest and least-intrusive solution is going with a six-piece 5.1.2 speaker system that includes front speakers which also feature integrated top-mounted upward-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. Third, another easy (and potentially most versatile) choice is going with an eight-piece 5.1.2 speaker system that includes a pair of small separate Dolby Atmos speaker modules which can simply sit atop the front left and right speakers (or alternatively be mounted high on the front wall up above each front speaker). The easier second and third methods reflect the audio signal for the elevation/height channels angled upward off of the ceiling and back down towards the seating area (like this), where the first method sends the signal downward directly from the ceiling speakers (like this).

Each of the 5.1.2 bundles below include the THX Certified Select Onkyo TX-NR6100 7.2-channel network-ready surround sound receiver [manufacturer’s link] [available at Amazon]. Required speaker wire, subwoofer cable, HDMI cables, et cetera which are necessary to complete the proper setup and installation of your home theater audio system are sold separately.
