Each of the TV/component stands pictured on this page feature a built-in/powered (virtual surround sound) speaker system. They are sort of like having a "hidden" soundbar speaker and subwoofer actually integrated into the cabinetry of the stand, so NO separate A/V receiver and speakers are needed!
This is one of the simplest possible audio solutions for those who either can't or don't want to mess around with purchasing and setting up a separate home theater receiver and wiring for a full-blown surround sound speaker system.
