Harman Kardon SB 16 The $600 SB 16 system from harman/kardon pictured to the right is HARMAN's first ever all-in-one virtual surround amplified 1.1 speaker sound bar + separate wireless subwoofer TV speakers without receiver audio solution.
Since the SB16 LACKS HDMI inputs, each of your A/V source components will need to be properly connected to the HDMI inputs on the back of the HDTV, and you will also need to run an optical or coaxial digital audio cable from the digital audio output on back of the television set to the corresponding input on back of the soundbar speaker. Wall-mounting hardware for the soundbar is included.
The 10 inch down-firing 100 watt powered subwoofer can be located anywhere in the same room that's near an AC outlet. For the best possible sound, you will want to experiment a bit with both sub placement and settings before deciding its "permanent" location. |
